If not sheriff, maybe governor

I would like to thank each everyone for the warm welcoming they gave to me during my campaign for Sheriff. I had a wonderful experience and met so many wonderful people in this wonderful county. I also learned so many things that a city person like myself would never learn unless he is in the country like I am.
The election was great and I still feel like a winner. I won in many ways but did not get the office. I support Mr. Turner and will be glad to work alongside him to make this county much better if he chooses to ask me. I have talked to many of you about swinging the vote from me to him because I did not want to see the votes split to the point the wrong person got into office. I am very humble in my decision-making and I am very proud that the citizens of Surry will have an opportunity to see the cycle of passing the helm from one Sheriff to another finally be stopped. It is time to move forward.
As we move forward, I am going to continue to ask for support in a different way. I am looking to seek a higher office which is not local but state. I have not made my final decision yet, but I am looking to continue my plan, which is to seek the office of the Governor. For those that are friends with me on Facebook, I would like your input, for those that are not, please friend me. You can find me by my name and I would like to hear what you have to say concerning this new frontier I am thinking of taking on. Once again thank you.
