To the new Board Of Supervisors: (1) Can the “Norfolk water deal be done away with or renegotiated? (2) Can there be a one time permanent and uniform agreement struck with all the Volunteer Fire and Rescue organizations in regards to property, equipment and funding?
To the New School Board: (1) Are you satisfied that $4 million plus of school money has been paid out in back wages because there was what seems deliberate misdirection or misinformation on the part of those paid to look out for the county’s (Taxpayer’s) best interest? Are you willing to pursue any and all legal avenues to hold those responsible accountable? (2) The county has had an agreement with an outside company for several years now to provide support staff to the school facilities (maintenance, food service and janitorial). Are you satisfied with the performance? Is anyone looking?
To the Smithfield Town Council: (1) Can you please explain individually your stand on growth, especially in regards to the proposed development on the Pierceville-property? There seems to be a lot of emotion but not a lot of reason put forth in many of the comments either in favor or against the development of this property. (2) Do you have a long term plan in place for much needed road improvements on many of our interior residential roads?
