Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 28.2-1403 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, and the Coastal Primary Sand Dune Zoning Ordinance of Isle of Wight County, that the Isle of Wight County Wetlands Board will hold a Special Meeting on Monday, July 24, 2017. A public hearing on the following application is scheduled to be considered:
The application of Thomas L. and Elizabeth H. Darden, owners, for an after-the-fact permit for the installation of a 130-linear-foot bulkhead on the beach along the James River, at 15215 Riverview Road, Smithfield, in the Hardy Election District.
A copy of said application and Coastal Primary Sand Dune Zoning Ordinance are on file in the Department of Planning and Zoning, Isle of Wight Courthouse, Isle of Wight, Virginia and are available for public examination.

The application of Richard W. and Tandy Coyle, owners, for a change in zoning classification from Rural Agricultural Conservation (RAC) to Rural Residential (RR) of 19.49 acres of land. The purpose of the application is to change the zoning classification from Rural Agricultural Conservation (RAC) to Conditional General Commercial (C-GC) for purposes of constructing an office building.
