Isle of Wight County, Virginia hereby gives notice that the Isle of Wight County Board of Supervisors has proposed to accept an offer for the purchase of the following county property:
Being located on Great Springs Road identified as Tax Map Parcel Number 21-01-083D. Acquired by Isle of Wight County and being approximately 30.40 acres, more or less.
An offer of $130,000 has been submitted for the purchase of the property described herein. Persons wishing to upset the offer that has been received shall submit their offer to the office of the County Administrator, 17090 Monument Circle, Isle of Wight, Virginia, 23397 by 4:00 p.m., June 14, 2018. If there are any higher qualifying bids that bid will become the new offer. If there is more than one bid and the highest amount, the first such bid received will become the new offer. A qualifying high bid is one that raises the existing offer to an amount not less than $130,000. The Board of Supervisors must approve the final high offer before the sale is closed which it will endeavor to do within thirty (30) days after the final upset bid period has passed. Title will be transferred by a deed of bargain and sale.
