Marion Virginia Wrenn was born May 16, 1949 to the late Wesley C. and Vivian R. Wrenn.  On Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020, she transitioned into eternal rest at Sentara Obici Hospital.  Marion was a native of Smithfield, where she completed her early education in Isle of Wight County public schools. She was a graduate of Westside High School Class of 1967.  Having a passion for learning and education, she continued her education at North Carolina A&T University (1967-1969), and later transferred to Norfolk State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business in 1971.  She was a proud Spartan until her passing.

Marion was preceded in death by her parents and three protective older brothers; Norris C. Wrenn Sr., Sheridan B. Wrenn Sr., and Robert C. Wrenn, as well as her niece Shawn Wrenn, whom she loved dearly.  She is survived by one dear aunt, Mable Wrenn and her only sister, Edna Holloway.  Although connected through marriage, her two sisters in love of many years, Myrteen Wrenn and Vernell Wrenn are deeply saddened by her passing.  She leaves to cherish her memory five special nieces and six devoted nephews who all mourn her loss.  They are Tami Wrenn-Drew (Samuel), Yolanda Wrenn, Crystal Combs (Lester), Jennifer Wrenn, Courtney Wrenn, Sheridan Wrenn Jr. (Jacqueline), Djuan Wrenn Sr. (Jacqueline), Norris Wrenn Jr.,  Chris Wrenn (Jameka), Chad Wrenn, and Jason Wrenn (Keisha). She is treasured by several great nieces, great nephews, cousins, extended family and friends who will miss her presence.   Marion was a woman who was committed to her community where she was very active and involved in numerous organizations.
