Mac R. McClenny of Strawberry Plains, Tenn., formerly from Smithfield, Va., passed away on March 31, 2020, from pancreatic cancer. 

He retired From Dominion Power after 35 Years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fate and Jean McClenny, and his son Blake. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Susan Hines McClenny, and a daughter Emily. He is survived by his sisters Paula Griffith (Dave), Verna Jones (Tommy), Margaret Harrell (Wayne) and a brother Joe McClenny (Cindy).

After love of his family, music came second. He played the mandolin anytime he had the opportunity. Locally he played with Clay Griffin and Joe Barlow and others. He played with The Blueberry Jam in Tennessee. 

Due to COVID-19, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
