NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE SURRY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON THURSDAY, JULY 2, 2020 AT 7:00 P.M. IN AN ELECTRONIC ONLINE FORMAT TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:

Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment No. 2020-01
Application by Spring Grove Solar III, LLC for a map amendment to the Development Plan Map of the Surry County Comprehensive Plan to reflect that the property is suitable for General Industrial use. The property consists of one parcel, irregularly shaped, beginning + 2850’ west of the intersection of Colonial Trail West/SR 10 and Hollybush Road/SR 618, extending along the south side of Colonial Trail W/SR 10 for + 2800’ with an average depth of + 5300’. The property is referred to as Tax Parcel No. 26-4C and is the subject of Rezoning Application No. 2020-01.

The property consists of one parcel, is irregularly shaped, and begins + 2850’ west of the intersection of Colonial Trail West/SR 10 and Hollybush Road/SR 618, extending along the south side of Colonial Trail W/SR 10 for + 2800’ with an average depth of + 5300’. The property is referred to as Tax Parcel No. 26-4C.

Conditional Use Permit No. 2020-02
Application by Spring Grove Solar III, LLC for a conditional use permit for a solar generation facility in Surry County (the “Project”). The Project is located on one parcel, irregularly shaped, beginning + 2850’ west of the intersection of Colonial Trail West/SR 10 and Hollybush Road/SR 618, extending along the south side of Colonial Trail W/SR 10 for + 2800’ with an average depth of + 5300’. The property is referred to as Tax Parcel No. 26-4C.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Town Council of the Town of Surry will hold a public hearing June 29th, 2020 at 7:00pm in the Town’s meeting room (84 Colonial Trail E). The purpose of the public hearing is to review the proposed 2020/2021 operating budget. A detailed copy of the proposed budget can be seen in the Town’s business office (31 Colonial Trail E) during regular office hours.
