More Surry County roads closed after heavy rain

Surry County has experienced a significant amount of road/bridge damage from the flash flooding that occurred over the past 24 hours, the county stated on its official Facebook page.

Many roads/bridges still have standing high water, and some have been completely washed away, the county stated.

If you must go out, please proceed with caution for your safety and the safety of first responders. When facing high water, turn around; don’t drown.
