COVID-19 testing available

The Western Tidewater Health District is offering free COVID-19 testing to the public.

Testing will be offered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following dates and locations: Dec. 2 at Paul D. Camp Community College, 100 N. College Drive, Franklin; Dec. 3 at the Suffolk Health Department, 135 Hall Ave.; and Dec. 7 at Main Street Baptist Church, 517 Main St., Smithfield.

Anyone who would like to be tested should bring an ID. You may receive a test regardless of whether you have symptoms. Tests will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 300 people at each site and results will be available three to four business days.
