Nettie Lee Carver, 96, of Battery Park, went home to be with the Lord Monday, Dec. 28, 2020.

Mrs. Carver was the daughter of the late William Stewart and Lillie May Ennis Lee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl C. Carver; daughter, Linda L. Carver; and brother, William Stewart. Mrs. Carver is survived by her daughter, Susan C. Edwards; sons, Michael E. Carver and Richard C. Carver; grandchildren, Shawn, Chris, Kimberly, Jill, Jennifer and Eric; great-grandchildren, Evan, Ella Grace, Hannah, Luke, Lizzy, Lillie and Liam.

Mrs. Carver was a faithful member of Battery Park Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir for more than 50 years.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021, in Battery Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield.
