Kari Alan Timm

Kari Alan Timm, 59, of Smithfield, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021.

He was the son of Karla Jean Hearn (Jarvis) and the late Kenneth Charles Timm. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Michelle Neitzke Timm; daughters, Kourtney L. Owens (Josh) and Kally Timm (Ian Stovall); sister, Kristy K. Vaughan (Ricky); brothers, Kennan Timm (Janis), Kevin Timm (Brenda), Keith Timm (Colleen); grandson, Kole Owens; in-laws, Duane and Charmaine Neitzke; nieces and nephews; Jamie, Jennifer, Cory, Ryan, Kiel and Taylor.

Kari started working in Timm’s Hardware in Wisconsin as a teen. He and Michelle moved to Smithfield in 1993, where he started his career as the store manager for Smithfield True Value. Kari coached softball for many years as he watched Kourtney play. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Kari loved his job and the store; he loved all of his customers and was looked up to as a second father to many of his young employees. He loved to fish, travel and spend time with his family. He was a loving son, who always showed concern for others, and will be missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, at Little’s Funeral Home. A private funeral service will be held for the family. Online condolences may be registered at www.littlesfuneralhome.com.
