Isle of Wight’s county school board will gather twice this week outside regularly scheduled monthly meeting times. The first meeting will be a training session on the Freedom of Information Act. It’s set for 9 a.m. Feb. 24 in the Robert C. Claud Sr. board room at the Isle of Wight County complex off U.S. 258. 

Then at 2 p.m. that day, the board will meet again to rank the shortlist of offerors to build the new Hardy Elementary School. Both meetings will be livestreamed through the division’s Facebook and YouTube pages. The public can attend the meetings in person in limited capacity and wearing masks is required.
