A year or two ago in a letter to the Virginian-Pilot, the writer said that in 2016 we gave $46 billion in foreign aid. That’s when we’ve got American citizens living on the streets, sleeping on heat grates and eating out of Dumpsters here in America.

I say foreign aid should be voluntary. You didn’t have politicians helping you earn your money, and you don’t need them to help you give it away. So if you want to send money to an approved country, then you can. But if you don’t, nobody should be able to force you.

Then there’s South America’s President Biden, who’s spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on hotel rooms to house the illegal aliens who are invading our country when there are homeless American citizens living on the street.
