The Carrollton Ruritan Club would like to once again thank the community for the outstanding support at our May Fish Fry. We sold over 550 meals thanks to your unwavering support.

The Ruritans are a civic organization, and we put on two fish fry events yearly. The funds raised at these events allow us to support our community in many ways, including providing filled backpacks for less-fortunate elementary students, donating to local food banks, supporting our local Scout Troop 36 and providing scholarships to local high school seniors, among donations to other worthy organizations.

We do recognize the traffic situation we encountered at this recent fish fry. Unfortunately, at this time we are not able to open the clubhouse for eat-in service, which means all fish fry traffic is drive-thru. And this created a definite traffic snarl.

We apologize to any of you who had to wait on your meals because of this. We are looking into solutions so that this doesn’t happen at future fish fry events, and we thank you for your patience with us during this recent situation.
