First, since Smithfield’s budget meeting is over, has there been any more news about the fate of Waterworks Road Park-Dam, reservoir and road?

Second, I have seen suggestions on what to put in place of monuments removed. Most want their own kind of monument, so my choice would be to plant a tree that will grow huge over the next hundred years as a living monument. No signage at all.

Lastly, if I were to win a huge lotto jackpot, I would sponsor a ship like the ones Smithfield was known for in the late 1700s.
