Peggy Williams Holland, 75, of Smithfield, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021.

Mrs. Holland was the daughter of the late Aulick Burke Williams and Francise Wells Williams. She is survived by her husband, Robert Steele Holland; brothers, Aulick “Bubba” Williams Jr. (Pat) and Tracy Lee Williams; and sister-in-law, Penny Williams. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Donna Lynn Williams, and a brother, Richard Allen Williams Sr.

Mrs. Holland retired as the human resources manager for the Western Tidewater Health District after 45 years of service. She was a member of Smithfield Baptist Church and the Gladys Barlow Sunday School Class. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Smithfield Baptist Church with burial to follow in Central Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, with Dr. Donald Rhoton officiating.
