The 1750 Isle of Wight County Courthouse Board would like to thank everyone who participated in the Ghost Walk that occurred Oct. 22-23. We appreciate your support.

This historic building is owned by Historic Smithfield ( 401c3) and is able to operate strictly from memberships, donations and grants. Your purchase of a ticket to take part in this year’s event benefits our programs and operations of this unique historic treasure.

We also want to thank all the volunteers who actively took part in making the event happen. A special thank you goes to the homeowners who agreed for ghosts to appear in front of their homes, Tourism/Visitor Center, Smithfield Little Theatre, Parks and Recreation, and the Town of Smithfield. The overwhelming support from everyone was greatly appreciated.
