Surry County to distribute test kits

Surry County residents that have COVID symptoms or have been recently exposed to someone that has tested positive may pick up a free at-home COVID-19 test kit on January 11 between the hours of 10 and 11 a.m., the county stated on its Facebook page on Monday.
These kits will be distributed during a drive-through event at the Surry County Emergency Operations Center, located at 1239 Colonial Trail West, Dendron. Test kits are available while supplies last.
Those needing first, second and booster vaccinations may call 804-862-8989 to register for a vaccination at the Surry County Health Department on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.
