Pope achieves Fall 2021 Dean’s List

Christopher Pope, of Smithfield, qualified for the Fall 2021 Dean’s List at Belmont University. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5, with no grade below a C.

 

Area students named to Dean’s List

The Dean’s List for the 2021 fall semester at Bridgewater College has been announced by Dr. Leona A. Sevick, provost and executive vice president. More than 500 students were named to the list.

Students on the Dean’s List have attained a 3.4 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0.

Students from Smithfield named to the Dean’s List are:

• Paige N. Allen, a liberal studies major
• Grace E. Garner, a music major
• Harrison W. Senter, a biology major

 

Andrew Barker earns degree from University of Maryland

Andrew Barker, of Windsor, earned a Master of Science in Information Technology from University of Maryland Global Campus. More than 8,000 students from all 50 states, four U.S. territories, and 26 countries earned UMGC degrees worldwide in fall 2021.

 

Morse honored on Dean’s List

Tina Morse, of Carrollton, was among those listed on the Dean’s List of Academic Honors at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. Undergraduates who have achieved a grade point average of at least 3.5 out of a perfect 4.0 in all work attempted while enrolled in not less than 12 semester hours are so honored.
