We are fortunate to have Steve Bowman seeking a seat on the Smithfield Town Council. Steve has spent many years leading governmental organizations, including the Smithfield Police Department and the Virginia Marine Resources Commission, where, despite a lifetime of avoiding politics, he was appointed commissioner by three different governors.

His experience in decision-making involving the important resources of Virginia will serve us well on the Town Council.
