Letter – Vote Kiggans; save the country

Published 7:15 pm Tuesday, November 1, 2022

Editor, The Smithfield Times:

I attended the debate between Jen Kiggans and Elaine Luria. The choice is clear. I am voting for Jen Kiggans.

She was composed, articulate and wanted to discuss the issues we are all facing today. Luria just wanted to scream like a 3-year-old throwing a tantrum. She can’t run on anything positive because she and her party haven’t done anything positive. The cost of living is damaging our country and eroding away the money we work hard to earn. If you think gas, food and inflation is high now, just wait until next year. You haven’t seen anything yet.

It’s OK to kill babies, even up to birth, but don’t dare let Democrats know you didn’t get the vaccine because their hypocrisy won’t let you argue “my body, my choice.” We are accused of killing Granny, but babies are OK.

It’s OK if our border states are overrun with illegal immigrants, bringing in drugs and crime at unspeakable volumes, but don’t make the hypocrites have to share in the burden. Just look at Martha’s Vineyard. That locality has a $9 million dollar surplus, but they didn’t want to use it to house, feed, clothe or otherwise help any of the illegals who were dropped off in their town; they sent them away.

It’s OK to rob, rape, stab, shoot, mame or kill someone, but you’ll be punished if you defend yourself against any of these attackers. Just look at what happened to the Bodega worker in NYC.

It’s OK if Chuck Shumer and Nancy Pelosi call on their supporters to verbally harass and attack our Supreme Court justices, even at their home, but we are the animals if we defend those justices’ expectation to live peaceably in their homes.

If you love and want socialism and communism then here are just a few suggestions for a new address: China, North Korea, Russia, Venezuela, Cuba, Laos, Bangladesh or Vietnam. Be sure to send me a postcard and let me know how much you love it.
