A Storybook Christmas featuring the town of Windsor’s annual community parade, vendor market and tree lighting is set for Saturday, Dec. 2.

Festivities begin at 4 p.m., with vendor set up beginning at 2 p.m., parade lineup is at 2:45 p.m. and step off at 4 p.m.

The tree lighting is at 6 pm. after the parade with remarks and awards at 6 p.m., according to a news release from Windsor’s Event Committee.

Vendors are welcome to purchase a space at the Garris Event Park and area next to the library.

The town is accepting applications for parade entries, the release stated.

There will be awards and a two-minute performance time this year.

In addition, the town is seeking vocal groups or musicians to perform after the parade for the tree lighting.
