The Smithfield Shakers Parkinson’s Disease support group is coming up on its first birthday next month. We meet the fourth Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. at the Smithfield Library.

Recently, we held a complimentary banquet for the group participants and their care partners.  We would like to publicly thank the supporters who so generously donated their respective foods from their restaurants, as well as those who served the tables, provided the venue and managed the event. 

It was a beautiful, delicious evening, and one we will never forget! Thank you so much to: Smithfield High School Beta Club, Hope Presbyterian Church, Q Daddy’s BBQ, Smithfield Gourmet Bakery, Taste of Smithfield, The Cockeyed Rooster, The Main Event, Wharf Hill Brewing Co, Yummarie’s Bakery, Jim and Kathie Kline Dancing and Bill Yoakum, supervising
