Smithfield’s annual Wine & Brew Fest returned to Windsor Castle Park on April 13, drawing thousands of locals and visitors. Smithfield VA Events, which organizes three festivals at Windsor Castle each year, estimates this year’s Wine & Brew Fest brought in $85,000, which will benefit over 50 community organizations. The proceeds will fund a $10,000 grant to the Smithfield High School Junior ROTC program and $5,000 grants to the Smithfield Little Theatre, Virginia Master Naturalists, Smithfield Packers Youth Sports, Smithfield Kiwanis Fishing Clinic, Lions Club of Smithfield and Isle of Wight County NAACP.
