Letter -Not a fan of roundabout

Editor, The Smithfield Times:
I remember the roundabout at Mercury and Jefferson in the 1980s before the James River Bridge railroad yard overpass. It was a nightmare when a tractor-trailer had to go through it.
Being in New Jersey in the 1980s for a time, I saw that all those roundabouts were an adventure. There is nothing that can be done to stop housing developments, but installing a roundabout at Turner and Benns Church Boulevard is a very bad idea, especially with all those trash haulers using Benns Church to go to the transfer station on Foursquare.
