Editor, The Smithfield Times:

I support the four Citizens for Responsible Leadership-endorsed Town Council candidates: Mary Ellen Bebermeyer, Darren Cutler, Bill Harris and Mike Smith. 

I have been following the election closely and these four candidates are in tune with the citizens of Smithfield. They directly answer the weekly questions in The Smithfield Times and let everyone know what they stand for. The “other two” use a lot of words to dance around the issues, and do not directly answer the questions. 

The CRL candidates have been talking to residents around Smithfield, including in my neighborhood. They were respectful and answered all our questions.

Bebermeyer, Cutler, Harris and Smith want what’s best for all of Smithfield, and they definitely have my vote!
