Editor, The Smithfield Times:
The holiday season is quickly creeping up on us. This Christmas why not add someone you don’t know to your gift list?
Isle of Wight Christian Outreach Program is once again hosting the Senior Angel Tree Program for low income seniors 65 and over who are residents of Isle of Wight County. While you are out shopping or running errands, please visit one of the businesses below and select an angel from their tree (or notebook at the counter), and sign it out. With the angel securely attached, return your wrapped gift to that business by Monday, Dec. 2.
We are very grateful to the following businesses that are hosting trees this year: Ringo’s Donuts, Luter YMCA, Smithfield Family Dentistry, Wharf Hill Brewery, Hair Stop, Cockeyed Rooster, Cofer’s Auto, The Academy Salon & Suites (Windsor), Pink Picket Fence (Carrollton), Dock of the Bay (Carrollton), Q-Daddy’s, Summerwind Vineyard, Villas of Smithfield, Smithfield Eye and Edward Jones (Smithfield office).
Thank you for bringing some joy to one of our valued seniors.
