Troop 36, based in Carrollton and sponsored by the Ruritan Club, picked up trash on Reynolds Drive on April 24.
This is one of the troop’s service projects to give back to the community by cleaning up a road that usually has quite a bit of trash on it. This project is usually done multiple times a year by the troop.
Approximately 16 Scouts and eight adults showed up to assist with the project. There were approximately 25 bags of trash picked up by the troop. This was part of the monthly troop campout where new Scouts learn the basics of camping.
