The Optimist Club of Isle of Wight County is soliciting entries for its 2022 student essay contest.

Students are asked to answer the prompt, “How does an optimistic mindset change my tomorrow?”

Students who submit the top three essays will receive cash awards. The winning essay will be sent to the district level, where a college scholarship of $2,500 will be awarded to the top winner.
