I will be voting for Elaine Luria for Congress because she has been, in my opinion, the biggest champion in Congress for the United States armed services during her four years in office.

As a former Navy commander she understands how important it is to maintain the proper military force strength to protect world peace through strength and diplomacy.

This year she was able to add close to an additional $70 billion to the budget to ensure that we continue to build the naval ships the United States needs. Additionally we have the world’s best naval shipbuilding at Huntington Ingalls Industries in Newport News.

It is a great synergy to have an experienced former naval commander representing a district that borders the greatest shipbuilders in the world. Let’s not mess with success. Reelect Luria as congresswoman in the 2nd Congressional District.
