The Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office is working to identify the source of Thursday’s threat made against the Keurig Dr. Pepper plant.
According to Sheriff’s Office spokesman Capt. Tommy Potter, the plant’s security office received a call concerning “a threat against the facility” and notified Isle of Wight’s 911 dispatch center on Nov. 3 at 5:18 a.m.
The plant, located in the county’s Shirley T. Holland industrial park just outside the town limits of Windsor, operates three shifts 24 hours per day.
Employees evacuated the facility while sheriff’s deputies and area K9 teams swept the plant. The plant returned to normal operations shortly after 8 a.m.
