WAVY-TV meteorologist Jeremy Wheeler was guest speaker at a recent Smithfield Kiwanis Club meeting.  His presentation on local and national weather events was outstanding. Wheeler discussed how to prepare for major storms. Club members thoroughly enjoyed his presentation and learned a great deal.  Anyone interested in joining Kiwanis is invited to meetings held at 12:30 p.m. each Thursday at Smithfield Station. Enjoy fellowship, lunch and consider becoming part of an organization dedicated to serving the youth in the community.  The club generally has guest speakers on the second and third Thursdays of the month.
