Students from Hampton Roads Classical, lead by Headmaster Andy Gist, performed patriotic recitations including the preamble to the U.S. Constitution and songs such as “Grand Old Flag”  on June 4 for Smithfield American Legion Post 49 members at their monthly meeting in recognition of the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Hampton Roads Classical is a private school located on Benns Church Boulevard that offers a classical education with an emphasis on citizenship.
