Virginia State Police issued a critically missing adult alert just before 9 p.m. on Aug. 18 on behalf of the Surry County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s deputies are looking for 66-year-old Catherlene Goodman Pittman of Surry.

She was reportedly last seen at 3:50 a.m. in the vicinity of 3300 Hog Island Road, Surry. State Police say she is believed to have been abducted and in danger.

Pittman is described as 4 feet 11 inches in height, weighing approximately 140 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
