Editor, The Smithfield Times:

Traffic was an ongoing problem beginning with the construction of the new elementary school replacing Hardy Elementary at Blount’s Corner Road and Old Stage Highway. 

When it was addressed last year, the problem was supposed to be solved. Seems they haven’t fixed them yet. Traffic is just as bad. $36.8 million gets us more traffic.

I was stopped in traffic in front of the Smithfield meat packing plant, allowing me to get out of my car and take this picture.

Unacceptable.
