Supervisors don’t represent citizens on solar farms.

The energy task force? What a joke, just a smokescreen. The recent decision on multiple solar farms is a disgrace.

Supervisor William McCartney, my question to you and the others who approved this fiasco: How about we live within our means? These projects are not benefiting citizens. Ask any homeowner in the county. Our taxes are still going up.

The stormwater fees we all pay? Where is that money going? Not stormwater drainage, for sure. The county has to borrow $7.5 million to fix school AC systems and our school buses are worn out. The schools’ fiscal shortage last year? Someone should have been fired for incompetence. The whole School Board should have resigned.

The supervisors don’t listen to their own Planning Commission. I guess the supervisors “will tell us what we want.” They know more than the people who pay the bills. We get the government we vote for. Three supervisors are out of touch with what WE want.
