With three uncontested mayoral races and an equal or lesser number of candidates than available council seats, the results of Surry County’s town-level elections were predictable.

According to complete but unofficial results from Virginia Department of Elections, Daryl Graham was reelected as mayor of Claremont with 140 votes, or 92.7% out of 151 ballots, with write-ins accounting for the remaining 11 votes.

In a separate Town Council race, Claremont voters could select up to five candidates for five available council seats.
