Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight County Board of Supervisors will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, August 27, 2015 to consider the following:
The application of the Monteiro Enterprises LLC and Robert Pfeifer & Louis Monteiro Trustees for a change in zoning classification from General Commercial (GC) to Rural Agricultural Conservation (RAC) of approximately 3.5 acres of land located on the west side of Whispering Pines Trail (Rt. 650), Windsor, in the Carrsville Election District. The purpose of the application is to continue the present use of the campground and campground store.
The application of Woodland Solar Center, LLC, applicant, and Jesse and James Oliver, owners, for a Conditional Use Permit on 200.00 acres of a total 213.15 acres, composed of five parcels of land, located at 18222 Longview Drive in the Windsor Election District. The application also includes a request to withdraw the properties in question from the Longview Agricultural/Forestal District. The purpose of the application is to allow for a Utility Service, major (Solar Farm) to be operated on the site.
The application of Brewer’s, LLC, applicant and owner, for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment on 111.442 composed of two parcels of land (parcel 33-01-013A consisting of 6.442 acres and parcel 33-01-014 consisting of 105 acres) located east of Route 10/32 and south of Route 32/258 in the Windsor Election District. The purpose of the application is to amend the land use designation from Business & Employment and Suburban Estate to Resource Conservation for the establishment of a conservation easement.
Copies of said applications are on file in the Department of Planning and Zoning at the Isle of Wight County Courthouse Complex, Isle of Wight, Virginia, and is available for public examination.
Any person desiring to be heard in favor of, in opposition to, or to express his or her views with respect to said applications may appear before and be heard by said Board of Supervisors during the Public Hearing to be held in the Robert C. Claud, Sr. Board Room at the Isle of Wight County Courthouse Complex on Thursday, August 27, 2015. The public meeting is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 to consider for recommendation to the Board of Supervisors the following ordinance amendments:
An ordinance to amend and reenact the Isle of Wight County Code by amending and reenacting Appendix B, Zoning, Section 6-4000, Floodplain Management Overlay (FPMO) District – Applicability, to specifically reference the updated Flood Insurance Rate Maps for Isle of Wight County produced by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, to recognize the maps’ effective date of December 2, 2015, and to accept the accompanying updated Flood Insurance Study.
An ordinance to amend and reenact the following sections of the Isle of Wight County Code, Appendix B, Zoning: Article III, Use Types, Article IV, Zoning Districts and Boundaries, Article V Supplementary Use Regulations; in order to make changes to the agricultural use types, expand the uses allowed in the Rural Agricultural Conservation (RAC) zoning district and allow for one “by-right” division of land around an existing residence in the RAC, to add an “Agritourism” section, and to add supplementary use regulations.
Copies of said ordinance amendments are on file in the Department of Planning and Zoning at the Isle of Wight County Courthouse Complex, Isle of Wight, Virginia, and are available for public examination.
