I’m writing in support of Victoria “Vicky” Hulick for School Board to represent the Newport District. She has been actively involved in our community for a while, and cares deeply about Carrollton. She has been attending civic league meetings, PTA meetings, Board of Supervisors meetings, Planning Commission meetings and School Board meetings for a long time now. She helped to stop the overdevelopment of Carrollton and has stood up and spoken in support of our volunteer fire department.

Vicky has a child who goes to Carrollton Elementary School and she will have a child in our public schools for the next 17 years. She is invested deeply in our school system. She has a background in science and education. She is easy to work and communicate with and is always willing to listen to what anyone has to say. She has worked hard and will continue to work hard for the children in Carrollton and Isle of Wight County. She has taught SOL and AP classes and understands what it takes in all levels of education. Vicky Hulick is a parent and a teacher.

Vicky believes that the schools should be fiscally responsible and that to do that properly, we need to plan for the long term. She understands the old and the new and would be great at bridging that gap. She would be a great asset to the School Board and I hope you will give her your vote as she has mine. She is the best and smartest choice for School Board.
