ORDER OF PUBLICATION
This action comes before the Circuit Court for the county of Surry on the Petition of the Hampton Roads Sanitation District to add to said District the entire geographic area of the County of Surry, Virginia.
UPON CONSIDERATION WHEREOF, it is hereby ORDERED that a public hearing shall be held in this Court on the 5th day of October, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. on the question of the addition of the entire geographical area of the County of Surry, including all towns within the County, to the Hampton Roads Sanitation District. At such hearing, the Court shall receive and hear any objections of interested persons to the addition of such territory to the District or to any modifications, if any, as it may deem advisable and which do not enlarge the territory proposed to be added to the District. All such objections shall be made in writing, in person or by attorney, and filed with the Court at or before the time or adjourned time of such hearing. Any such objections not so made shall be considered waived.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that this Order shall be published once a week for three (3) consecutive weeks in The Smithfield Times, a newspaper of general circulation in the area proposed to be added to the District, and shall also be posted in such public places within such area as shall be designated by this Court, the first of such publications and posting not to occur less than thirty (30) days prior to the date fixed hereby for a public hearing.
Take note that the hearing originally set in this matter for the 7th day of September, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. is hereby cancelled.

POULTRY IN THE A-1 AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT- The following amendments are proposed to permit the raising of poultry in the A-1 Agricultural District as designated in the Town of Windsor Land Development Ordinance (underlined sentences are the proposed amended sections to be added to or replace sections of the Land Development Ordinance) ;
§160.53(A) Permitted Uses in the A-1 Agricultural District
“(2) The raising of cattle, sheep, and other domesticated livestock including
non-indigenous livestock such as alpaca and llamas but does not include intensive farms as defined under the Code of Virginia. The raising of poultry, is permitted provided the A-1 Agricultural parcel or tract exceeds five acres and all pens and houses for poultry are at a minimum of fifty (50) feet from the property lines of any parcel or tract that are zoned A-1 Agricultural. If the subject property meets all of the other requirements but adjoins non-agriculturally zoned property, then any and all pens and houses for poultry must be at a minimum 100 feet from the adjacent non-agricultural property..”

“(12) Swine raising and/or processing of swine and processing of poultry.”
And repealing existing section which read §160(C) (12) “Swine and/or poultry raising and/or processing.

Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight County Board of Supervisors will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, September 15, 2016 to consider the following:
The application of Jean E. Barcroft, owner, for a change in zoning classification from Rural Agricultural Conservation (RAC) to Rural Residential (RR) of approximately 2.0 acres of land, and the request to withdraw the 2.0 acres from the Moonlight Agricultural/Forestal District. Copies of said application and ordinance amendment are on file in the Department of Planning and Zoning at the Isle of Wight County Courthouse Complex, Isle of Wight, Virginia, and are available for public examination.
