Charles Thomas Robinson Jr., 82, died on Sept. 9, 2016. He was born in Newport News to the late Margaret Michie and Charles Robinson Sr. He served the nation in the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked and retired as a pipe designer at Newport News Shipbuilding. He had great love for his friends and family, but especially for hisGerman Shepherds.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Marie Mulheron Robinson; sons, Dr. Charles T. Robinson III and Jamie B. Robinson; Buck, his German Shepherd; nephews, Randy and John Lenz; cousins, Frances Delk and Marion Robinson; and numerous other family members.
