Homer Glenwood Felts, 90, of Jacksonville, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017. He was born on Dec. 25, 1926 in Suffolk to Thomas C. Felts and Annie Laurie Felts. 

Homer honorably served in the U.S. Army and later began a career with the civil service as an aircraft maintenance and repair supervisor. He was a member of the Church of Argyle and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Felts was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Billie Brown. He is survived by his wife, Loida E. Felts; children, Gary W. Felts, Denise L. Evans (Grover Howard), Jeffrey L. Felts (Linda), Ricky W. Felts (Lorrie), Joey L. Felts (Regina), Laurie Anne Bracey, Christopher Felts, Dolores Le (Tim); a brother, Thomas Laurie Felts (Janet); a sister, Anne Delores Pickrell (Bob); and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.

The family received friends Jan. 30 in the Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home chapel. Funeral services were officiated by the Rev. Rick Painter. Burial with military honors followed in Jacksonville Memory Gardens.
