Walter Kuszelewicz

NEWPORT NEWS — Walter Kuszelewicz, “KUSH,” 80, of Carrollton and Brooklyn N.Y., passed away on Sept. 5, 2018.  He was born in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, the son of the late Leo and Wladyslawa “Lottie” Lasatowicz-Kuszelewicz from Oswiecim Poland.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary “Josie” Josephine Roman-Kuszelewicz, from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.  He is survived by his daughters, Carol K. Robbs, and husband Michael, Denise K. Sanalitro and husband Joseph; grandchildren,  EM, Zachary, Ashley, Alexa and Madison. Walter was in the New York City Fire Department, in Brownsville, Brooklyn with Engine #6378.  He enjoyed his boat named “My Thing,” fishing the Great South Bay, Long Island and Mako Shark fishing with the Bay Shore Tuna Club, L.I.N.Y.  

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 11, at 11 a.m. in St. Luke’s Cemetery, Smithfield.  Online condolences may be registered at www.littlesfuneralhome.com
