Sugar Lime Blue, a quartet out of the mountains of North Carolina, will make its first Summer Concert Series appearance Friday at 8 p.m.

Dave and Ashley Beth created and lead the group, which has performed for a decade. The group offers a mix of traditional country, rock, blues and Americana. They are currently on tour in Virginia.

The Summer Concert Series is sponsored by The Smithfield Times and the Isle of Wight Arts League. All concerts are free to the public. 

Concert cancellations due to rain are made as late as possible on Friday. Rainouts are posted when possible on www.facebook.com/smithfield.times and www.smithfieldarts.org.
