The Plaintiff filed this suit pursuant to Va. Code § 58.1-3965, et seq., to enforce its delinquent tax liens against the following real estate standing in the name of Collie R. Eley: Tax Map No.: 58-01-131A Brief Description: River Run Trail
An affidavit having been filed that the Plaintiff served Defendant Lue Emma Eley Claude, if living, by posted service at her last known address of 703 Bullock Street, Suffolk, VA and has used due diligence to ascertain any other location for her, but without effect; that the Plaintiff used due diligence to locate the unknown heirs, devisees and successors in interest of Collie R. Eley and Alexander Eley, but without effect; that the post office addresses of the unknown heirs, devisees and successors in interest of Collie R. Eley and Alexander Eley are unknown; that if Lue Emma Eley Claude is not living, that the Plaintiff used due diligence to locate her unknown heirs, devisees and successors in interest, but without effect; that the post office addresses of the unknown heirs, devisees and successors in interest of Lue Emma Eley Claude are unknown; and that there may be other persons having an interest in the property whose names and addresses are unknown, and those claiming through the aforementioned parties, all such persons made defendants as “Parties Unknown.”
It is ORDERED that this Order be published at least once a week for two successive weeks in the Smithfield Times, a newspaper of general circulation in Isle of Wight, Virginia, and that the parties named herein appear at 9 a.m. December 27, 2019, in the Isle of Wight Circuit Court Clerk’s Office and do what may be necessary to protect their respective interests. ORDER OF PUBLICATION The object of the above-styled suit is to process the adoption of the child to be known as Zayde Anelise Cutchin, by Chad Anthony Cutchin, the child’s stepfather. And, it appearing by affidavit filed according to law that Nikko Brewster, the child’s natural father, is not a resident of the State of Virginia, it is therefore ORDERED that the said Nikko Brewster appear on or before the 22nd day of January, 2020, in the Clerk’s Office of this Court and do what is necessary to protect his interests. Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the Town of Smithfield, Virginia will hold a public hearing at the regular meeting of the Planning Commission in the council chambers in The Smithfield Center, 220 N. Church Street, meeting room A, Smithfield, Virginia, on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. to consider the application of Miller Oil Company, Inc. & CIG Cypress Run Plaza, LLC, owners, for a special use permit under the provisions of Article 3.I, Section C of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Smithfield, Virginia, adopted September 1, 1998, and as amended thereafter, in order to approve a waiver from the following requirements of Article 8: 8.B.4.a: An alternative [parking] location shall be in the same ownership (fee simple or common) . . . of the land on which the use is located. *8.B.4.b: A common or cooperative [parking] location . . . shall be in the ownership (fee simple or common) of at least one of the participants . . . *8.B.8: In commercial . . . zoning districts . . . in no case shall it [a parking space] be located less than five (5) feet from any adjacent lot line . . . *8.B.14: All parking spaces shall be designed to prevent vehicles from extending over any property line . . . Comprehensive Plan Text Amendment Application No. 2019-01
Application by Spring Grove Solar III, LLC to amend the Development Plan Map and text of the Comprehensive Plan. The map amendment would identify the future land use of an area southwest of the intersection of Colonial Trail West/SR 10 and Hollybush Road as Industrial. The subject property is irregularly shaped, zoned Agricultural Rural District (A-R), and consists of +668 acres. The property is +2,900 ft. west of the intersection of Colonial Trail West and Hollybush Road, fronts the south side of Colonial Trail West/SR 10 for +2,800 ft. and is identified as Tax Parcel No. 26-4C. The text amendments would add land use objectives pertaining to consideration for, and location of, solar generation projects.
