Dorothy Ann Clark Stevens, 73, of Smithfield passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020.  

She was the daughter of the late Harry Lee Clark and Bessie Marie Orr Clark.  She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James Kenneth Stevens; daughter, Vicki Marie Stevens; sons, Christopher Allen Stevens (Janice) and James Kenneth Stevens, Jr (Nita); sister, Joyce Clerico (Jim); brothers, Steve Clark (Loretta), David Clark (Diane) and Jeff Clark.  

“Dottie” was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was instrumental in bringing the prayer shawl program to the church. She enjoyed knitting and was active in Angel Quilters and knitting outfits for CHKD, and also crocheted blankets for the Navy Marine Corp. She was a loved pre-school teacher at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She very much loved her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all those who she touched.  

The family would like to thank the staff at Riverside Regional Medical Center for their wonderful service and caring treatment. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to Riverside Regional Medical Center, 500 J Clyde Morris Blvd, Newport News, VA 23601.
