James A. Mason transitioned from this life Wednesday April 29, 2020 in New York.  

He was born  July 15, 1945 to the late Walter L. and Corine Johnson Mason.  He was a graduate of Georgie Tyler High School. 

His survivors include his children; Angela Mason, Chesapeake, VA, James A. Mason, II of Charlotte, NC and Jody Eley of Windsor, VA. His siblings; Larry Mason, Wilma Mason and Zelma Birchette all of Windsor, VA., Kelma Mason, Skippy, VA and Lowell Mason, Ellenwood, GA.  His brother Al Joseph Johnson preceded him in death.  Treasuring his memory include several Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. 

Graveside Service was held 11 am Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, 9000 Fire Tower Rd, Windsor, VA.  Viewing was 4-6 pm Friday May 8, 2020 at Shivers Funeral Chapel. Please keep the Mason Family in prayer.
