Mr. James Lamb Hills and Ms. Carolyn Russ Hills of Myrtle Beach, S.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Ms. Jessica Carolyn Hills, to U.S. Air Force Capt. William Dailey Calkins.
Captain Calkins is the son of Mr. William Graham Calkins Jr. and Katherine Jean Delk-Calkins, of Kansas City, Mo. He is the grandson of the late Mr. Howard Eugene Delk and Mrs. Hazel Dailey Delk, of Smithfield.

Ms. Hills earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Presbyterian College and Auburn University, respectively. Ms. Hills is an electronic records analyst for the state of South Carolina. Captain Calkins earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of North Dakota and Ball State University, respectively. He is currently assigned to Shaw AFB, Sumter, S.C.
An intimate family wedding is planned in October 2020.
