I totally agree with everything that Mr. Ray Baxter said in his extremely factual and well written letter (“Trump did what he said he’d do,” Dec. 16) with one exception. President Trump had to pat himself on the back because nobody else would do it. If he did not, not very many of us in the general public would have known of his accomplishments.

The “fake news” certainly made no effort to inform us of any of the good things that he did. Of course they did plenty of news shape-shifting to make him look as bad as possible. So, naturally, President Trump went to Twitter and his speeches to give us the truth. Those of us who had the time and capability took to the internet to find the “real story.”
