TERMS OF SALE: The property will be sold “AS IS,” WITHOUT REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY OF ANY KIND AND SUBJECT TO conditions, restrictions, reservations, easements, rights of way, and all other matters of record taking priority over the Deed of Trust to be announced at the time of sale. A deposit of $20,000.00, or 10% of the sale price, whichever is lower, in cash or cashier’s check payable to the SUBSTITUTE TRUSTEE will be required at the time of sale. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

On Thursday, the 20th day of April, 2017, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Isle of Wight, Virginia (the “County”), will hold a public hearing on the proposed issuance of general obligation bonds of the County (the “School Bonds”). The School Bonds are to be issued in the estimated maximum principal amount of $7,900,000 to finance the acquisition, construction and equipping of facilities and equipment for public school purposes and uses.

At the same meeting, the Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on redirecting the purposes of certain previously authorized general obligation bonds of the County. The County intends to amend the related authorizing resolutions to provide that the authorized but unissued principal amounts of such bonds (approximately $1,675,582 in the aggregate) may be used to finance the acquisition, construction and equipping of facilities and equipment for transportation purposes and uses.

The public hearings will be conducted in the Robert C. Claud, Sr. Board Room at the Isle of Wight County Courthouse Complex on Route 258, 17130 Monument Circle, Isle of Wight, Virginia during the Public Hearing section of the meeting which will begin at 6:00 p.m. Interested persons may appear at such time and place and present their views.

The County of Isle of Wight is in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 16-9 of the Isle of Wight County Code, that the unknown owner or owners of the following described vessels, currently docked at Tyler’s Beach Boat Harbor, are hereby ordered to remove said vessels from the boat harbor no later than April 15, 2017. The vessels are described as (1) a 26 foot sailboat; (2) a 16 foot open runabout with small console; (3) a 25 foot cabin cruiser; (4) a 40 foot deadrise (no engine or cab); and (5) a 14 foot fiberglass sailboat. In the event said vessels are not removed from the boat harbor by April 15, 2017, the Isle of Wight County Department of Parks and Recreation shall be authorized to remove and dispose of said vessels as authorized by law.
